You will most likely be horrified to know that all these mobile creches that are popping up are not regulated by anyone! Unless you as a parent or event organiser ask, they are not required to produce any proof of Police Checks, Qualifications or Insurance!!! Now before you completely dismiss this very useful, very in demand service, this is not the mobile creche providers fault. There is no where for them to register & Directors/owners cannot verify there personal police check.
Coming June 2013 this will all be changing with your help. Creche on Location will becoming The Creche on Location Association. We are no longer going to be providing childcare of any sort ourselves to be completely objective. It will be a voluntary regulatory body for Mobile Creches. No one likes extra paperwork & the intention is not to make more unnecessarily, but this is the care of children we are talking about. At present there is nothing stopping anyone from setting up a mobile creche and as a former creche provider and parent this really scares me. How about you? If you came to this site looking for childcare we are recommending at this point Harmony at Home, a mobile creche provider doing everything they can to be professional and accountable. There are others out there but please do your home work, before hiring.

Working closely with Mobile Creches, Ofsted and the Government to give you a list of approved childcare provisions, in keeping with your requirements to insure smooth running. Making life as easy as possible for you.
Comprehensive insurance, vetted & qualified staff, gives you peace of mind. There will be strict Standards, guided by Ofsted’s (governing body for childcare in England) regulations and suggestions. All toys and equipment that are provided, will be maintained and comply with EU certifications.
